This is my idea for ideal schools. I have worked in education for many years, and co-founded two very successful schools in the Dallas area. It combines academic device tutoring with free community gatherings in local churches every week.
Academics are taught one on one on a device using something like Khanmigo, the AI tutor from Khan Academy. Communal activities, like sports, music, theater and art are taught by volunteers and hosted by local churches.
The cost of the school is parent time. It means at least one parent must be a stay at home parent, and that both parents need to be willing to volunteer to lead at least some activities.
And local churches need to be willing to donate facilities that would otherwise sit empty.
This, of course, already exists and is usually called a homeschool coop. The Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-day Saints is an excellent position to have this go mainstream as they have so many buildings that are underutilized during the week.
