From 1992 to 2005 my wife and I were members of a church then called Grace Outreach Center, led by Pastor Gerald Brooks and his amazing wife Geni. It was and is a unique church  because it was and is so thoroughly multi-cultural. Gerald and much of the staff came out of the Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Grace Church  was, at the time, a "health and wealth church"  where the message I heard was that following Jesus would make you healthier and wealthier. In that it was probably the perfect church for me then, as I was in recovery from worshipping at the church of the Almighty Dollar.

Unfortunately, for both me and those church members, many still friends, I am no longer able to attend Grace Church as I was formally trespassed from that Church shortly after I joined The Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-day Saints, in a call from Pastor Garrett Hawfitch, a former friend, in 2018.

This sort of thing is prophesied in John 16:2, where it is written, "They shall put you out of the synagogues".
