St. Vincent de  Paul, in Denver, Colorado is where I attended grades 1 to 7, before skipping the 8th grade to attend 9th grade at Regis Jesuit High School. Our family was poor by the standards  of that parish and school, but we were able to attend because, when we arrived in 1966, there was no tuition! And later, in the 1970's, tuition was negotiated based upon your family size and resources. I am forever grateful to the people of the parish for supporting the parish school so wonderfully.
